Le Sang des Seigneurs
In the Middle Ages Occitania (the actual southern half of France) is led by noble lords who share their political power. But Occitania is united by a common culture and a common language.
Born on the slopes of Côte-Rôtie, on the Terres blondes soils where granite and schist meet, this wine fully expresses the singular character of its terroir. The Syrah is harvested by hand and vinified in stainless-steel tanks for around fifteen days. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels, the wine reveals controlled power, aromatic complexity and finesse, carried by notes of spice, pepper and well-integrated oak. A great wine that can be enjoyed in its youth while also offering excellent ageing potential.
A great red wine, elegant and full of character, perfect with red meats or game in sauce
